TESUP now offers two optional gearbox upgrades to match your wind turbine performance with your local wind conditions. You can add the 1:4 High-Wind Gearbox to maximize output in strong winds, or the 4:1 Low-Wind Gearbox to improve efficiency in lighter winds. These are not standard inclusions but optional accessories designed to give you more control and adaptability.
1:4 High-Wind Gearbox (Optional)
- Performance Boost: Multiplies generator RPM by 4× in strong winds.
- Best Suited For: Coastal, ridge, and open-field locations with frequent high wind speeds.
- Note: Requires higher wind to cut-in, but delivers exceptional power when wind is strong.
4:1 Low-Wind Gearbox (Optional)
- Torque Increase: Enhances turbine start-up and stability in gentler winds.
- Best Suited For: Rooftops, valleys, suburban areas, and zones with lower or variable wind speeds.
- Note: Produces smoother operation and earlier start-up, even when winds are modest.
