Pyranometer
The Tesup Irradiance Sensor is part of TESUP’s global range of professional sensors, designed for intelligent environmental data collection in small-scale renewable energy systems. This photovoltaic pyranometer, based on a precision reference cell, is ideal for residential rooftops and compact PV installations worldwide—especially when used in combination with wind turbines.
It measures solar irradiance in watts per square meter (W/m²), enabling accurate calculation of the system’s performance ratio (PR). The design focuses on cost-effectiveness, simplicity, and global compatibility—delivering reliable performance across various environments without unnecessary complexity.
With a measuring range of 0 to 1600 W/m², each unit is tested in natural sunlight using a reference cell certified by the Fraunhofer ISE Institute in Germany. The sensor transmits data via a digital RS485 interface using the MODBUS RTU protocol and requires a 5V DC power supply. It integrates seamlessly with the Tesup Atlas Wind Turbine and the Tesup Wizard, making it suitable for hybrid solar-wind systems, rooftop installations, and off-grid solutions in any region.
The compact unit measures 118 x 84 x 55 mm and weighs only 0.2 kg. Installation is fast and straightforward, with smooth integration into TESUP’s global product ecosystem.
Monitor your energy production smartly and accurately—anywhere in the world—with the Tesup Irradiance Sensor, built to meet the needs of modern solar users across continents.
