Atlas S67. Built once. 25 years of power.

Meet ATLAS — the world's best-selling vertical wind turbine, capable of generating power even by hand. Trusted at Arctic research centres, on California homes, and aboard Maersk and MSC fleet ships — wherever the wind is gusty, turbulent, or shifts direction.

This purchase includes the generator with built-in IoT charge controller. Blade set sold separately — three options for your site's wind profile.

Power & Performance

  • Easy output: 1 kW in good wind
  • Starts at: 2 m/s (low-wind blades) — one-third the cut-in of horizontal turbines
  • Three swappable blade sets for any site: Low-Wind (2–20 m/s), Standard (4–25 m/s), High-Wind (5–35 m/s)
  • Daily energy yield: 0.5–8 kWh per day depending on site
  • Annual yield: 180–2,500 kWh depending on average wind
  • Noise: 35–40 dB — quieter than a conversation
  • Built-in IoT charge controller — monitor power, wind, and solar data from your mobile app

Why vertical-axis wins for real sites

Horizontal turbines need clean, steady wind from one direction. Atlas thrives on the real-world wind found at homes and urban sites — gusty, turbulent, constantly shifting. Atlas captures wind from any direction without yawing, generates in turbulent flow where horizontals stall, and self-starts in light, shifting gusts.

Inside the Atlas — Industrial-Grade Engineering

Atlas uses the same premium 15 kW continuous-rated motor as the Magnum. At Atlas's typical 1 kW output the motor runs at less than 7% load — cold-running, near-zero copper losses, service life exceeding 30 years.

  • 24-pole permanent magnet generator with NdFeB N42 super magnets (60×25×5 mm, nickel-coated, bread-shape)
  • Skewed magnet mounting — minimizes cogging torque, enables self-start in light winds
  • 4 kg of pure copper winding, 90 turns per stator slot
  • Class 200°C high-temperature enameled wire (IEC 60317-13 GR 2) — the same insulation grade used in industrial servomotors and EV drivetrains, certified CE / UL
  • ±0.05 mm precision tolerances across all machined components
  • Generator dimensions: stator 16 cm × 12 cm (2.4 L volume); 24 magnets at 60×25×5 mm = 180 cm³ total
  • Vertical rotor: 1030 mm diameter × 1005 mm blade height = 1.035 m² swept area
  • Three swappable blade sets — choose by site wind profile (low-wind set capped at 20 m/s for safety)

Why 15 kW continuous and 22 kW peak?

The motor's 15 kW continuous rating is what it can sustain indefinitely without overheating — set by the Class 200°C wire insulation, 4 kg copper mass for heat absorption, and passive cooling of the housing. The 22 kW peak rating is the short-term overload capacity for gusts, limited by the N42 magnet demagnetization threshold and stator iron saturation. For Atlas, which typically outputs 1 kW, this means the motor runs at less than 7% load — almost no copper losses (which fall with the square of current), no measurable temperature rise, and a service life that can exceed 30 years.

How power is calculated

Wind power available follows the formula P = ½ × ρ × A × V³ × Cp × η, where wind speed (V) is cubed — small increases in wind speed produce dramatic increases in output. Atlas's power coefficient (Cp) reaches 0.28 in good wind thanks to skewed magnets and curved aerodynamic blades. Combined with 92% electrical efficiency, Atlas extracts ~26% of available wind energy — strong for a vertical design that prioritizes consistency over peak.

Designed and manufactured in Europe

TESUP operates in Ireland and 37 other countries — the world's leading household wind turbine and solar panel manufacturer. Our European production facilities produce over 270 components in-house, from generators and electronic cards to blades and mounting hardware. Atlas is built once, then operates for 25+ years. Stock-dependent delivery from one day to four months.

Product Features

  • A 10 kW power generator meets the daily electricity needs of most households.

The TESUP Atlas contains a 10 kW power generator, capable of meeting the daily electricity needs of a household.

  • Modern Look

It is designed with a modern look and an enhanced body for better protection from external factors.

  • Resistant to Weather Conditions

The wind turbine is well-protected from weather damage.

  • Rotation at Low Wind Speed

The wind turbine requires 4 m/s of wind speed for rotation to start. By adding the optional low-wind blade set, Atlas can start rotating at just 3 m/s wind speed.

  • Large Wind Catchment Area

Atlas captures wind from any direction, which makes it a great choice for urban environments.

  • Small Size and Low Disturbance

Apart from its small size another great feature of the Atlas is its low noise and vibration levels thanks to its re-engineered design.

  • Easy and Quick Installation

The product can be installed in just around 40 minutes. Watch how to do it by clicking the link.

  • Double the Power

It can also be combined with TESUP solar panels for optimal energy production.

  • Sell to the Grid

The electricity generated by Atlas can also be sold to the grid by using an inverter.

  • 2 Year Warranty

The product comes with a 2-year TESUP Care Product Warranty, providing peace of mind and ensuring that your investment is protected.

  • How to Use

Please keep in mind that the wind turbine needs to be installed following the user manual which can be found in “The Book by TESUP”and under ideal weather conditions to reach its maximum power generation potential.

This product is compatible with connection to the electrical board at various output power settings. However, it may only be connected to a power socket after the necessary adjustments in accordance with country-specific regulations have been made.

I bought two wind turbines from you in 2021

Please can you assist me. I Bought two wind turbines from you in 2021. I need to replace the bearings seized , fan belt broke and gears are all striped and worn. Please can you make suggestion with replacement units for these two. If possible I would just like to replace the outside units, and not do complete reinstallation.

Hi! I purchased the Atlas 10kW along with the blade set, and it's working great!

Assembling the blade set was a bit challenging, and a few screws were missing, but overall, everything turned out fine. Delivery took a bit longer than expected, but I’m really happy with the outcome.

A big thank you to the TESUP team!
You’ve earned a 5/5 rating from me. I’m already considering buying an inverter from you, as I’m planning to go fully off-grid.

Wishing you all a great day!

I have set up 1 TESUP vertical 5 kW turbine, 2 small 12V turbines (from China), and a water turbine in my little creek that provides 200W constantly. All were set up by myself. I am satisfied and not planning to sell the TESUP.
