Ride the Wind with Atlas Gearboxes
What Is a Gearbox?
A gearbox is a mechanical system that transfers and adjusts rotational motion between two shafts — controlling speed, torque, or direction. In wind turbines, it connects the blades to the generator, ensuring the rotation speed is ideal for efficient electricity production.
When the blades spin slowly, the gearbox increases their speed so the generator can work effectively. Through its internal gears, it converts motion smoothly and maintains consistent power output under varying wind conditions.
TESUP Gearboxes for the Atlas Wind Turbine
TESUP offers two gearbox models specially designed for the Atlas Vertical Wind Turbine, allowing you to match your setup to your wind conditions:
4:1 Low Wind Gearbox
Optimized for areas with gentle breezes, this gearbox multiplies torque, helping the turbine start earlier and generate energy even when winds are weak.
1:4 High Wind Gearbox
Built for stronger winds, this model increases rotational speed up to four times, delivering higher RPM and voltage output for greater efficiency in powerful conditions.
Both gearboxes are engineered to endure continuous operation and maximize the turbine’s performance in every environment.

Simple Installation
TESUP gearboxes are designed for ease of use. You simply position the gearbox between the Atlas turbine body and blades, secure it with the existing fittings, and the system is ready to perform.
No complicated setup — just a smart mechanical enhancement that fine-tunes your turbine for the specific wind profile of your location.
Tailored Energy for Every Wind
Whether you want faster start-up in low winds or higher power output in strong winds, TESUP’s Atlas gearboxes let you get the most out of your renewable system with minimal effort.
