Certification & Compliance — Canada
TESUP wind turbines (Atlas, Magnum) and Flexible Solar Panels are designed and manufactured in Europe and carry the CE mark — certifying conformity with the applicable European safety, EMC and Low-Voltage Directives. Our full Declaration of Conformity is available to download.
Installing in Canada
Canadian provincial electrical codes require electrical equipment to bear an approval from an SCC-accredited certification body. Where a product is not yet CSA-marked, Canadian regulations provide a recognised route to approval: a field evaluation (special inspection).
An SCC-accredited agency — such as CSA, Intertek/ETL, or your provincial electrical authority (for example, ESA in Ontario or Technical Safety BC) — inspects and tests your installed unit and issues a field-evaluation label that your electrician and local inspector will accept. This certifies your specific installation, without waiting for full product certification.
We support the process
We provide the evaluating agency with everything it needs — the CE certificate, test reports, electrical specifications and wiring diagrams — and support you and your electrician throughout. Contact us and we will help you arrange approval.
